"Regular Multiball", 3-ball sequential release, without 3rd magnet installed The "Powerball" is a ceramic pinball about 20% lighter than a steel pinball, much faster, and not affected by the game's magnets. Magnets on the mini-playfield 'flip' the ball during "Battle the Power" mode when the player presses the flipper buttons. Magnets on the main playfield are situated on the looping lane and catch the ball to aid in hitting shots into the camera and piano. Maximum 1 buy-in ball per player (operator option). Dual autoplunger/manual plunger arrangement.

IMHO the physics aren't quite as goodas Visual Pinball but the games are still fun to play.Internet Pinball Machine Database: Midway 'Twilight Zone' If you're concerned with the legalities of emulation, there are lots of original tables available for Visual Pinball that are just great fun, lots of flash and deserve to be experienced.įinally, Future Pinball is another option, a "next gen" pinball simulator that's very pretty and very playable. Lot's of fun and with thousands of tables available, lots of variety too. I have to agree with mrclean's post though, my first impulse is to nominate Visual Pinball/Vpinmame as the standard for pinball playing on an arcade cab.
On the PC side, nothing beats the Pro-Pinball series, though to run properly on XP, you need to update some of the executable.
The Amiga computer can provide one of the best series via emulation: the Pinball Dreams/Fantasies/Illusion series (the best versions were the Amiga version IMHO). If you like video pinball, you can also run some of the console emulators that had pretty decent pinball games such as the TG16 (Alien Crush) and Genesis (Dragon Fury). Also Video Pinball (Atari 1979) but don't expect much graphics wise. Should be verified but I think Time Scanner is "safe" of adult content.
